Barry Unger

Barry graduated from Belknap in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration. After college, he moved back to Berks County, PA where he lived until moving to West Virginia in 1983 with his wife, daughter, son, and stepson. He had a farm there with goats, chickens, geese, rabbits, cats, fish, a dog and a one-eyed turtle. He was an excellent carpenter and built a barn and several other buildings on the land around his house. He spent his days chopping firewood, tending to the garden, milking goats and enjoying time with his family. He always said his years in West Virginia were the best of his life. Unfortunately, after a 2 year battle with cancer he died on December 19, 1993.
