Lynda Lee Dow, age 76, of Milton Mills, NH, passed away April 24, 2024, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.

Born November 15, 1947 in Newport, NH, a daughter of John W. & Virginia (Clark) Johnson, she resided in Milton Mills, NH for 40 years.

Prior to retirement, she was employed for 35 years with Strafford County Community Action Committee, where she had worked as an Outreach Coordinator.  Lynda loved helping people, youth and seniors; she especially enjoyed the bus trips with children to various fun spots.

Known as a “Prayer Warrior”, Lynda loved her family, family gatherings  and church gatherings.  She was creative, and enjoyed a wide variety of crafts. She loved family gatherings at the ocean, and was also an avid reader.

Survived by her husband of 52 years: Stephen R. Dow and their sons:  Jonathan S. Dow & Rodney C. Dow, 3 grandchildren: Taylor K. Ouellette, Austin B. Dow & Dylan C.W. Dow, 2 great grandchildren: Canaan & Sage, her sister Marilyn A. Johnson, her cats: Finn & Haddie, and grand-dog Moe.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1pm at Union Congregational Church on Main Street in Union, NH with Rev. David Maleham, pastor officiating.  Calling hours are prior to the service from 11am-1pm at church.  Interment will follow at Milton Mills Cemetery.  Because she loved “Pot-Luck”, if you would like to bring a dish in her honor, feel free to do so. A reception will follow the interment at Hotchkiss Commons, across the street from the church.
