Michael Sehl

Michael Sehl of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 8, 1946, in Wildwood, NJ, Mike was the son of Dorothy and Walter Sehl. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Pat, Carl, and Lisa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Suzanne, his children, Michael and Alison, and his cherished grandsons, Mason and Carson. He also leaves behind his brother, Jim, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends many from grade school.

Mike served his country with honor as a military policeman in the U.S. Army, stationed in Huntsville, AL, and Vietnam. After his service, he dedicated many years to practicing law in Pennsylvania. He was deeply involved in his community, serving as Scoutmaster of Paoli Troop 181, coaching “The Blue Turkeys” girls’ soccer team, and as president of the PAOP at Heritage Airport.

A man of boundless energy and enthusiasm, Mike embraced adventure, whether sailing, skiing, piloting, or cycling. He participated in numerous fundraising rides for MS and ALS research. He found great joy in time spent at the ocean, especially in Ocean City, NJ. His humor, optimism, and kindness touched all who knew him.

Above all, Mike was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His happiest moments were those spent with his family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

A contributing factor to his illness was exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam.
